What an end to the year, some ddeadly fights and some great rewards...
What an event to finish the year off on. Roaming Robots Winter Tour Grand Finals at Maidstone was a hit! With the first show selling out and having to turn people away to the second show and the second show not far off from being sold out! The atmosphere in both shows was amazing making full use of the new projector screens and our new high tech media section making the crowd laugh, cheer boo and scream!!!!
The show kicked off in style with some great fights like Terrorhurtz v Thor and Ripper v Iron Awe and the grand final of Ripper Evo and Terrorhurtz was just a great gripping grand final where Ripper Evo held in their fighting back to become the Winter Tour 2008 Heavy Weight Champion.! The feather grand final was touch and go all the way through but well done to Aftershock for pulling through who is now the Winter Tour 2008 Feather Weight Champion.
We also dished out some special awards for the Roboteers which was voted for by the Roboteers such as Best Designed Robot, Most entertaining Robot, Best Team Sportsmanship award and many more. Full results can be found from our home page.
